Congrats to two Maple Leafs prospects: Frederik Gauthier of Rimouski Oceanic and Dakota Joshua of the Sioux Falls Stampede. Both are champions.

Gauthier’s Oceanic won the QMJHL title in double overtime over the Quebec Remparts on Monday night. The Oceanic and Remparts continue on to the Memorial Cup in Quebec City against the OHL champion Oshawa Generals and WHL champion Kelowna Rockets.

Joshua scored the opening goal in the Clark Cup as the Stampede swept Muskegon for the USHL championship over the weekend.

Gauthier is the last Leaf playing. For those not playing, there’s still some activities planned. Here’s a look at a few things the Maple Leafs are up to:

PHIL KESSEL

Phil Kessel is opening a hockey camp, running two sessions July 20-24 and July 27-31. The camp will be at the MasterCard Centre. It’s for boys and girls born between 2003 and 2006.

The cost to skaters, $695, to goalies $400.

And everybody gets a photo session with Kessel.

Phil’s brother, defenceman Blake Kessel and Canadian women’s team forward Courtney Birchard are also involved.

NAZEM KADRI

The sixth annual Nazem Kadri Golf Classic is set for June 6 at Lionhead Golf and Country Cup. Tickets are $135 per person and support Islamic Relief Canada and the SickKids Foundation.

PETER HOLLAND

Peter Holland was named as a Pan Am Games torchbearer. He’ll carry the torch on June 13 in East Caledon, close to where he grew up in Bolton. Among other things, Holland is also taking part in the June 9-10 Joe Carter Classic this summer while also helping organize and facilitate a SickKids fundraising gala June 26 at Arcadian court (they’re trying to raise enough funds to donate a new Cardiac MRI machine).

JAMES VAN RIEMSDYK

James van Riemsdyk will also be at the Joe Carter Classic. Van Riemsdyk recently traveled to New York City to visit the NHL Network studios. He answered fans questions through Twitter but then also added some analysis work as well. You can catch some of the videos here.

JAMES REIMER

James Reimer will be doing some charity work this summer back home in Manitoba with the charityRamona’s Reach. It’s in support of an orphanage in Uganda. Ramona had been married to James’ cousin. She passed after a battle with cancer but had a dream of helping those less fortunate in Africa. This charity keeps that alive.
