TORONTO, ON – June 10, 2013 – The Joe Carter Classic charity golf tournament is excited to announce music promoter and Canadian Idol judge Farley Flex as host of this year’s tournament after-party at the Shangri-La Hotel in downtown Toronto on June 18. The invitation-only event for guests and celebrities of the Joe Carter Classic is presented by Strellson and sponsored by Belvedere Vodka, and will also feature performances by Naughty By Nature and Young MC, along with Canadian songstress Aleesia.

The Strellson after-party is the final stop for golfers and celebrities from the day’s Joe Carter Classic charity golf tournament. The full-day event attracts some of the biggest names in sports, including Hall of Famers, Damon and Marcus Allen, Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Jonathan Ogden, and Thurman Thomas. As well as NHL stars, Eric Lindros, PK Subban, Brendan Gallagher and Jake Gardner.
The Joe Carter Classic pairs golfers with celebrity pro-athletes and big and small screen entertainers to play at one of Ontario’s top ranked courses, Eagles Nest Golf Club. To date, the event has raised and pledged a combined $750,000 for the Joe Carter Scholarship Fund and the Joe Carter Family Support Fund in connection with the Children’s Aid Foundation.
